Roth Händle Studios
Introduction.
Roth Händle studios is the home of Mattias Olsson and his
collection of vintage or just plain
odd instruments and gadgets. The idea
of the studio is to create a place where bands and
artists can get away
from the stiff and sometimes stifling atmospheres of ordinary studios
and get back to what is really important. Making Beautiful and honest
recordings of hopefully
beautiful and honest music.
Mattias is the Engineer and Producer at Roth Händle. He is also
the only person who knows
what every instrument there sounds like and
how it can be used. He probably knows a thing
or two about the instruments
history as well.
So far over 25 acts have recorded there and more than 150 songs. Swedish
bands like
Pineforest Crunch, Grand Tone Music, Änglagård,
Celestine too mention a couple but also
international acts like Robin
Hughes from Australia, Jared Eggers from New York ( it is
almost it´s
own country ) and Blanc from the country that gave you white bread and
really small accordions….France.
There are two recording rooms…One with a lot of weird and obscure
keyboards, guitars and
effects and another room with some weird and obscure
drums, keyboards and effects….There
are also kitchen facilities
and a large parking lot close by.
